Pediatric Housestaff

Night Float Supervisor

Welcome

Welcome to the National Pediatric Nighttime Curriculum, which your LPCH hospitalists and many other hospitalists across the country have been busy preparing!

Our goal is for you to review the following 10 topics during your night float roation.  Each night, a topic will be taught from 11-11:30pm in the Resident Lounge.  If the hospitalist is unable to teach (due to patient care duties), then the senior resident will be expected to teach.  And if everyone is busy so that formalized teaching is unable to happen before 1am, then you will be expected to review the Presentation on your own.

We hope that this curriculum will help highlight some of the great diagnostic dilemnas which present more often at night and will give you some helpful tools for dealing with these issues!
